Nelson E. J. Derickson joined the WFN corporate group in Summer 2011. He since held various roles in administration, bookkeeping, management information systems, GIS mapping, and acting management. He contributed to corporate branding projects including writing vision and mission statements for the construction, forestry, and retail companies. He held a WFN Economic Development Commission seat for 6 years, and Chair for 4.5 years. He was an appointed Director on the Greater Westside Board of Trade. He remains active on various policy committees that have an impact on businesses. Nelson holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in general/management studies from the Okanagan School of Business (OC). He aspires to acquire advanced management certificates in leadership and professional administration. He enjoys meaningfully contributing to community and corporate strategic initiatives. Nelson is Westbank First Nation Member, and is passionate about growing the Ntityix businesses for the benefit of the community.
