Victoria Smith joined Rogers in November 2019 to lead network expansion and innovation partnerships with rural and Indigenous communities across western Canada.

Victoria is passionate about driving socio-economic and environmental impacts by working at the intersection of the public and private sector. Her career spans extensive experience in both settings, having held senior strategy and policy roles for government in Australia and Canada across various portfolios including communications and engagement, public land, infrastructure, emergency management, regional planning, and rural development. She has also worked in the financial markets in business and product development roles for the Royal Bank of Canada domestically and abroad.

Victoria has a master’s degree in regional planning and environment from the University of Melbourne and an honours degree in landscape architecture as well as qualifications in finance, project management and public sector leadership. She is from small town Ontario and now feels grateful to live, learn and play with her family in Squamish, British Columbia the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territory of the Skwxwú7mesh peoples.
