Jason Welter is Sysco Canada’s Vice President of Human Resources and is a proven HR executive with 20+ years of experience. Jason has a successful track record in business partnerships, all aspects of labour, as well as innovations in associate engagement. In addition, his support and leadership have been instrumental in successfully growing Sysco’s workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies.

Prior to joining Sysco, Jason worked at Alberta Health Services where he began his career and got opportunities to grow his skills in Collective Bargaining and Labour Relations. The Alberta Health Services experience was comprised of multiple hospitals of both non-union and union groups, representing 30,000 employees. Jason is a Human Resources graduate from Grant MacEwan University in Alberta.
