Germaine Conacher is a Partner in MNP’s Consulting group, specializing in the duty to consult/Indigenous consultation and land use studies. Drawing on fifteen years of experience, Germaine helps First Nations, Métis governments, natural resource development companies and provincial, territorial and federal governments with all aspects of Indigenous consultation. She has conducted numerous land use studies with Indigenous groups in B.C., Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and the Yukon and has coordinated the consultation process for oil and gas, pipeline and transmission companies. Germaine has acted as an expert witness in several regulatory hearings on behalf of her clients.

As a Partner in MNP’s consulting services line, Germaine is responsible for the management and oversight of several Indigenous consultation projects and works across several natural resource sectors including oil and gas, linear projects, mining, and nuclear energy.

Germaine has also championed Indigenous Awareness training, recruitment, and retention at MNP and sits on the Prairies Consulting Diversity, Equity and Inclusion working group.
