Carol is a Professional Engineer with more than 25 years of experience in the petrochemical industry. She is a proven leader and brings vast experience in leadership, governance, and strategy. Prior to her current role as President of Women Building Futures, an established non-profit, Carol served as the Registrar at the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta (APEGA).

Carol currently volunteers her time as a Director of the Excel Society and Chair of the Governance Committee. She also serves as a Director on the board of the Covenant Foundation.

Carol and her husband met while attending the
University of Alberta and together have enjoyed successful careers in Alberta’s Industrial Heartland and globally. They’re proud to have raised two children who continue to successfully contribute to their community.
