Matt LeMay is a multiple award-winning Métis filmmaker, who owns and operates LeMay Media & Consulting. Matt is passionate about telling Indigenous stories and has produced and directed over 30 documentaries and 700 videos always with a strong focus on reconciliation and the environment. Matt is Canadian Geographic’s Inaugural Filmmaker in Residence and is currently completing a Master’s degree in Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Queens University. Matt is a Citizen of the Métis Nation of Ontario whose families’ roots are in the Red River and he currently lives in the Ottawa Valley with his wife Jennifer and his daughters Ella and Noa.
