Since joining Hydro‐Québec 20 years ago, Mathieu Boucher has held different positions in which he’s had the opportunity to work closely with Indigenous peoples. He currently heads the team responsible for the company’s relationships with Indigenous nations and communities. In particular, this team negotiates and executes agreements with Indigenous communities regarding the company’s projects.

Mr. Boucher has been a member of the Board of Directors of Niskamoon Corporation for 15 years. The Corporation is a Cree organization charged with implementing agreements between Hydro‐Québec and the Cree Nation of Québec and managing the funds provided under these agreements.

Mr. Boucher holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Université de Montréal and a master’s degree in public administration from the École nationale d’administration publique.
